Both Ai and Misaki arrive to Ryuji’s apartment. Eriko received a painting as well for an appraisal request. Misaki brought him cookies and Ai brought cupcakes. As they are eating, the painting has “liar” written over it and Ryuji sees a shadow in the window of the painting. Wow, that was a tad creepy.

Immediately the four girls are sucked in to the U.S. city that the painting is of. They start looking for an exit, but end up at different buildings with “Liar” all over the place. The “liar” thing is really helping with the creepy vibe. None of them are able to find anyone, and Eriko says it reminds them of a horror movie she watched.

Suddenly they see the culprit from the horror film. Ai and Rose try to attack him, but it is of no use. They run away until they reach a house and lock themselves in. Ryuji is witnessing the entire thing, when he realizes Bianca is there next to him. I wonder how Ryuji will save them.

Rose finds stairs to a basement. They enter a room that contains photos of women with liar written on them. Misaki suddenly is in a mysterious place and asked by the monster her most precious memory. While trying to save her, all of them are sucked into a dark space. This show is doing a good job of creating an ominous vibe.

Bianca explains the painting traps women. Back inside, the girls are all in front of mirrors being asked questions that they must be truthful about. All of their answers have to deal with Ryuji. Even though they are truthful, the monster considers all women liars. Before even Ai answered, I knew they’d all involve Ryuji.

Bianca offers herself up to let Ryuji save them. The monster sees Bianca and when it tries to trap them, Ryuji uses his Lost Precious to kill it. Bianca is able to drag them to safety. Bianca explains it was painted by a man betrayed by his lover. The episode ends with “Liar” written in the bathroom mirror. It sent chills up my spine.

This show probably has nothing to do with the overall story arc, but it was a nice episode regardless. I liked the horror aspect vibe it had. Even though it ended like a true horror film, I doubt it will be back in the next episode. Have I ever stated how much I love the opening theme song, because it is awesome!
