And the site is now live! I’m so excited to finally have this site up and ready for everyone to check out. It is still in store for improvements, so consider it  a work in progress.  I will be announcing a contest over the next couple days in celebration of the site launching , where I will be giving away a copy of Deathsmiles Limited Edition and other prizes.

Before I get into who I am and what I am about, I have some thanks to share with those that helped me get to this point.  First off is Amanda Drake for providing me with the banner artwork and she did an absolutely amazing job of capturing my idea and improving upon it 100 times over.  I would also like to extend my thanks to Dustin Parkins for his knowledge and hard work to help me get the design final and even teach me a thing or two. Without you two, I’d be sitting here with a blank page and twiddling my thumbs. Thank you both so much.

What you read below is what you will find on my About page from here on out.

I am G-Nitro, (AKA The Otaku Gamer), and for those who don’t know me by now, let me fill you in on who I am.

I have been gaming since my father brought home a Magnavox Odyssey 2 console and put a controller in my hands for the first time. Since that time, I have owned the majority of game consoles released in the U.S. I currently am an editor at Aggrogamer.com and was a community manager at Pwned.com. I also created and host the Aggrocast. I have attended a few gaming conventions, such as Penny Arcade Expo and Pax East , E3, Videogame Expo, and GameX.

I had my first introduction to anime (Old Dominion Tank Police) when I was 13 years old thanks to my older step-brother and I have been hooked ever since. I did have a small lapse in my viewing, but that didn’t last long, as I couldn’t stay away. I have attended Otakon four times since 2003, missing it between 2005 – 2007.

In 1999, I had my first taste of Asian music, first introduced to J-Pop star, Namie Amuro, and then later turned on to K-Pop. I have even been an online DJ for various radio stations, to include Visual Radio, Soompi Radio, and Big B Radio. I was also a site moderator at Soompi for a few years and am still a dedicated member of the site.

I am ready to bring all my passions and hobbies to more people, which is why I decided to begin this website. I will be bringing you news, personal viewpoints, reviews, and much more. I also plan on starting a podcast dedicated to my hobbies, and hope to have that live by the end of the year. I also hope to provide a brand new music video every morning as my Featured Video. So come back daily for new music!

This is the launch version of the site, so please enjoy and thank you for your support. Nyaa~
