It’s back! The pantsu flying brigade is here with another season of battling the Neuroi. The first episode opens with a different squadron trying to make contact with a humanoid Neuroi, but before they can, it is destroyed. At that moment, a larger Neuroi cloud appears and destroys the city.

Cut to our heroine from season one, Yoshika Miyafuji. After graduation, her and her friend head home. After helping to heal a bear cub and an injured bird, a witch crash lands in front of Miyafuji’s home. She hands Miyafuji yet another letter from her supposedly deceased father. It contains new plans and layouts for a new technology.

Needless to say Miyafuji heads to meet Mio Sakamoto, her mentor from the first season. After being told to stay away, Sakamoto heads off for another battle. Miyafuji decides she will not stay away and rushes back to make use of Sakamoto’s old striker unit. After convincing Mio to take her along, they are attacked by a Neuroi, and the show comes to an end.

You don’t need me to tell you to watch or not watch the new Strike Witches season. If you enjoyed the first, you’ll love the second. If you hated it, trust me and stay away. I personally am overjoyed for another season of the witches fighting through the skies with nothing but a top and pantsu on.
