Amagami SS (Episode 8):

This is the finale to the Kaoru arc and it starts off with Keiko and Masayoshi devising a plan to get Kaoru and Junichi together. They end up tricking them into meeting in the nurse’s office. After a brief interaction, Junichi and Kaoru set a date for Christmas Eve. Kaoru is extremely late for the date, but Junichi trusts her and waits for her to arrive. They end up on the top floor of a building which has a great view of the area. They end up confessing to each other, and Kaoru misses her bus home. She ends up staying with Junichi for the night.

This was a perfect ending for the two of them. Even though it has some suggestions towards things escalating a bit more, the show ended it in a very sweet way. Unfortunately they didn’t do a 10 years later sequence like with Haruka, but it didn’t take away from the ending of Kaoru’s arc in any way. Up next is Nakata Sae’s arc.

Mitsudomoe (Episode 8):

This episode of Mitsudomoe sees the girls in a game of cops and robbers during P.E. After Mistuba screws over Hitoha to get away, the two manage to get locked in a storage room. Hitoha exacts her revenge by playing sick. Next Hitoha believe Nipples is now more in love with Futaba than her and is brooding over it, trying to exact revenge. We then see Futaba and Hitoha trying to kill roaches in Yabe’s apartment, while more misunderstandings occur between Hitoha and Yabe over the Gachi rangers. We finally see Futaba playing with a young boy until the get lost.

Mitsudomoe provided us with another funny episode. The girls have really grown on me, and I now find myself looking forward to each episode, rather than dreading if it will be funny or not.

Seitokai Yakuindomo (Episode 8):

This show starts off with huge laughs right at the start. We don’t even get to the opening theme song and the show and I was close to spitting out the coffee I was drinking from the laughter. In this episode we see the Student Council prepping for the upcoming Co-Ed Sports Day. Since this is the first time it will be co-ed, Shino and Aria come up with very sexual events. We are also introduced to a new character in Kaede Igarashi, who has a fear of boys. She accuses Shina and Tsuda of perverted acts, but Aria and Shino manage to “convince” her. We end the show on Shino having to help out the Judo team in a practice meet as a substitution due to an injury, which she wins thanks to questionable preparation.

This was easily the funniest episode of Seitokai Yakuindomo so far. The amount of over the top sexual jokes seems to be at maximum, and all set up perfectly. It is easy to catch yourself laughing out loud through almost the whole episode.
