In our latest episode, Scott glows about how great Connecticon was, and how it destroyed the previous year’s attendance record. Scott and I then discuss Otakon and our plans as the event schedule has been released.
In news this week, Discotek announces 3 new licenses, Crunchyroll reveals a couple more simulcasts, Udon Ent brings out more artbooks and manga, Yen Press announces new manga, Neon Alley to premier on Playstation 3, JManga to start new site, and Princess Mononoke gets a stage adaptation in London.
In the final segment Scott gives some final thought on Serial Experiments Lain and its ending.

You guys should definitely watch Golden Boy. I watched it several years ago and I found it to be hilarious. I really must pick it up for my collection. And I’ve looked into that Cards Against Humanity game and it seems like a pretty fun game. Very cool that it started as a Kickstarter project and you can even print the cards out for free from their website if you wanted to. Otherwise you could get the water proof ones they sell, which would likely be great at parties where alcoholic drinks are involved, lol.
Oh! there’s a guidebook out for Otakon now so make sure to download that! That app is really handy for keeping track of panels.
