I finally went out and did it. I bought my first ever full-sized Nendoroid figure. As many may know, I have never been a huge fan of the Nendoroids. I don’t mind the Petits, but the full size Nendoroids were always too expensive for what they are. My thoughts quickly changed when I saw the Azusa Nakano Nendoroid. I tried to keep myself from purchasing her, but finally broke down. Thanks to Kid Nemo Company, I purchased Azunyan, and here are my impressions.
First off, she is absolutely adorable. I have to say this is probably the best looking Nendoroid I have seen. Many all have the same expressions, but I felt they captured Azunyan perfectly. She comes with three different faces, a set of cat ears, her guitar, two extra pairs of arms, an extra leg, and a cute little cat.
It’s not hard to figure out what I went with in terms of face and pose. I had to put the cat ears on, the Nyaa~ facial expression and the cat on her head. You can see from the pictures just how cute she looks. I also took some images of her in other poses and with other accessories. For my first Nendoroid, I must say I am very pleased with the quality.
Are you going to change the face to the last picture on the left whenever you’re about to fap?
I’ve never bought a full sized Nendoroid either for pretty much the same reasons as you. This is definitely a good first purchase, though, and I’d definitely buy one if I could somehow find it for $30. For now… I’ll have to think about it.

@Cheeznrice: I have plenty of larger figures, just never bought a larger Nendoroid figure. I always bought the petit ones.

I wasn’t a big nendoroid person until I got Azusa. Honestly she is the best made I have out of my 4. I agree they really made her perfect with the face and everything. Glad you got her.
The one with the Guitar looks awesome XD I moved to a smaller place so I had to sell a lot of my figs

How does this work to change the face? face stickers you can swap out? You pop the whole head off? You should do some stop motion animation with these things. Like all those Lego youtube videos.
I like the version with the guitar lol with or without ears lol does the head switch or do you slide the face off? How does that work? Glad you like your shiny new figure ^_^.

@mhatter106 – You can take the head apart and put a new face in its place. A lot of these are the sames sizes, so you can even mix and match parts to make your figures cosplay.
@G-Nitro – Suit yourself. I actually ended up buying one of those mugs after I tweeted it to you a couple weeks ago (I’m @ianraver). I’m still eagerly waiting for it to arrive! Until then, I’ll stick to my Miku Cospa mug

I was never a big fan of the nendo’s… coworker has like 20. Maybe I just havent seen that “one” that I have to have yet.
Its an expensive hobby – started with figmas, got my first pvc (momohime) a little while back, now I have about 6 more on preorder. So much wallet hurt T.T
@Ghost1082: I have quite a few figmas, but they are hit or miss. I have some great ones, and then I have some really crappy ones. I’m being a lot more selective on them now.

I absolutely LOVE Nendoroids, and have been waiting for the Azunyan Nendo for MONTHS! I must buy this ASAP.

Where do you keep them in? Do you keep them in some sort a collect case?
If only I had money and somewhere to put them, I’d buy more figures. Though I am rather happy with my Haruhi and Yuki figures I got from Play Asia. Not too big though, but they weren’t that expensive in the end.

This one is quite a bit better than the other purchase. It is quite adorable with the kitty ears. I can’t even find her on the site you linked, so I can’t tell how much you paid, which I am curious about.

Nendoroid are really nice, didn’t even knew they exist, but yesterday my friend who went to Japan gave me 3 Fate Stay Night Nendoroid as a gift. Too bad mine didn’t have accessory like yours.
