The World God Only Knows (Episode 8):
Keima’s mom is in the bath, when something sinister arrives. Elsie has prepared more of her awful monster lunches, so Keima insults her. A classmate tells her to make a cake, so she uses the kitchen at school. While picking out the eggs, a monster hatches from one of them. We are treated to Elsie singing while she is making the cake. Just when she is going to put the strawberries on, the dragon comes back. That is not her only problem as the other eggs begin hatching, unleashing more monsters. Suddenly a microwave explodes and the cake and monsters are gone. Once at home, Keima tells her he hate sweets. We now see the same situation from Keima’s view. Keima is in P.E., and the teacher ends up insulting his games. While the teacher is disciplining him, the dragon scares off the teacher. He finds the cake she made for him and the note. Now we see the mother’s perspective. She gets a call from his teacher, and is upset. We pick up where the show began. She chases after the monster for peeking at her. She ends up attacking Keima instead, who was eating Elsie’s cake. Finally we see the monsters’ fighting, and the lunch Elsie made eats the dragon.
This was an episode filled with “What The Fuck” moments. I laughed a lot, and I liked how they presented the various viewpoints. When I thought things happened a certain way, I found out I was wrong. This was a nice break episode, unlike the buggy game one that happened previously.
Otome Yokai Zakuro (Episode 8):
Kei is walking back with Hotaru, and he tells her she has changed. They are approached by the two hooded females and put to sleep. Zakuro and Riken are wondering where they are, when Aya shows up with items she found in front of her store. The two hooded ladies are with The Black Widow that is seeking revenge on Zakuro. Zakuro wants to go look for them, but is locked up instead. Riken and Aya sneak Zakuro out anyway. Kei and Hotaru wake up and are greeted by the hooded ladies who let them know they are after Zakuro. Riken thanks Zakuro for helping to change Kei. Kei and Hotaru notice water is coming through the door. Zakuro and Riken show up, and the hooded ladies reveal themselves as half-spirits. They take down both Riken and Zakuro. One of them tells Zakuro about the plan to drown them, and she begins to attack with all her might. As the girls are about to be defeated, the Black Widow shows up again and takes them away. As the door gives way, Zakuro grabs Kei’s hand. Riken holds Hotaru tightly, and Kei thanks Zakuro. Once back they all take baths, and afterward Kei talks with Zakuro. Zakuro gets upset that he went out and begins crying. He grabs her and apologizes.
This episode was excellent. We finally learned more about the hooded girls, but also found out the Black Widow is still alive. Zakuro showed more of her true power, but also revealed her true feelings when she was worried about Kei. This show continues to improve with each episode.
The show opens with a flashback to Junichi brooding over being stood up. Back in the present, Rihoko runs up to Junichi who is depressed, and pressures him to come out. The teacher is asking for volunteers for the Founder’s Festival, so Tsukasa volunteers again. Junichi volunteers to help as well. The next day the two are working together as the clubs are handing in their ideas. She asks for his help, and they go to the supply room to check out the equipment. Junichi opens the window for air, and they get locked in when the door shuts. Tsukasa isn’t too worried and they get to work. They ask each other why they joined the committee. Tsukasa likes to help people, but Junichi is doing it to try harder. Miya and Sae show up and are able to get the door open. Miya and Sae get the costumes they wanted, and then shut the door as they leave. Junichi and Tsukasa are once again trapped, but Miya comes back to get them out. Walking home they run into Tsukasa’s older sister, Yukari. Tsukasa is bothered by her being there, and leaves with Yukari. The next day Junichi is slammed with problems from students with requests. He goes to get Tsukasa, and finds her by the pool. She says she will come over right after the lessons. He finds a notebook, and while trying to determine whose it is, Tsukasa shows up to retrieve it. She grabs him by the tie, presses against him and says “So you read it.”
This was an outstanding opening to Tsukasa’s arc, and may be the best one yet. Tsukasa comes off as the perfect class rep, but by the end of the episode you see there is more to who she is. The ending when she grabbed Junichi and got close really shocked me, and makes me want to see the next episode immediately. This is going to be a long wait until the next episode.
Part 1 – Become Bigger
Risa is bothered by a bit of fat on her body, so she asks Lala how she maintains her figure. They tease Rito about it, and he denies a good figure is all there is. Haruna and Oshizu run into Nana, and she explains how Momo was showing off her figure. Nana is determined to make her breasts bigger, so the three of them go back to Rito’s house. They try to devise ways to get bigger breasts. Oshizu makes Haruna and Nana massage each other. When that doesn’t work, they get an alien octopus, and they are supposed to have the suction cups attached to the breast. It latches on to all three off them. Haruna decides to improve herself one step at a time.
We get to see things from Morron’s point of view, and they come across a dog laying on the ground. It seems the dog is Rito thanks to a Lala invention. He explains it to Marron and he doesn’t believe him. Haruna takes him into the bath, and he tries not to look at her since she is naked. Marron tries to force him to lick Haruna, but he can’t do it. He finally does it., but freaks out and runs away. Lala changes him back and they run into Haruna and Marron.
Part 3 – The Trance of Feelings
A young girl lost her balloon, and Yami gets it for her. Lala and Mikan show up and Mikan wants to switch bodies with Yami. Lala puts them through it. Mikan takes off in flight, but ends up crashing due to inexperience. The principal shows up and Yami beats the crap out of him. Rito arrives and asks what is wrong with Yami, thinking it is Mikan. So Yami ends up preparing a very strange dinner. The principal is now chasing Mikan, but she hits him with a weapon. Yami ends up watching TV with Celine, and Rito makes her some tea. Yami asks if he is always this kind. After changing back, Yami tells Mikan she envies her.
Parts 1 and 2 were uninteresting and I really didn’t enjoy either of them much. They had a couple bright spots, but for the most part are not worth watching. Part 3 was a very fun watch with Yami and Mikan switching bodies. I liked that Yami was able to see another side of Rito, and Mikan was so cute making Yami look energetic.

Another great week in anime. That Zokura was a bit of a tear-jerker, no complaints, it was just good.
I finally caught up with TWGOK and Elsie still manages to steal the show. There is allot of in-game humor which I found laugh-out-loud funny… I almost forgot, MILF MILF MILF!!!
As for Amagami SS episode 21, the new story arc,… effing great start! I am ready for more episodes because the only thing now I am disliking form the show is the wait. This is a series you do a binge run and lose a day. Personally I dislike harem series, but they do a good job being it’s own show.
