    Motto To Love-Ru (Episode 11):

Part 1 – All Quiet On The Sister Front

Mikan is being asked out, and she shoots the guy down. Her friends think it’s because her brother is wonderful. She gets annoyed, but ponders over it. Mikan notices Momo being closer to Rito and gets jealous. She then asks her to to keep her distance. Momo laughs it off and says she’ll be careful. Mikan decides to sleep in Rito’s bed that night to scold Momo. He rolls over and grabs onto Mikan’s butt thinking it is a marshmallow. She eventually pulls on his face to make him stop. When she is about to leave, it begins storming and she gets scared. Rito then grabs hold of her and tells her it is okay in his sleep. This causes her to remember it happening when they were younger. They fall asleep together, and Rito freaks out when he wakes up.

    Part 2 – False Love

Celine is drunk again and while Rito and Lala chase her down, she runs into Yami. Yami is sprayed and takes Rito with her to get Taiyaki. She then imitates other couples and tries to feed Rito. When he comes out of the bathroom, she transformed her clothes into a dress. When he bumps into someone, he is knocked into Yami and grabs her breast. She is not angry, but tries to get a kiss instead. When he tries to shake her out of it, the effect wears off and she knocks him down. She questions why he stopped it and calls him a dimwit, but that she doesn’t hate dimwits and smiles at him. She then says she will let him die a painless death.

    Part 3 – Predicting Love

Rito wakes up holding Momo’s tail, and she is being turned on. Suddenly Nana walks in and freaks out. She confronts Momo, but Nana says she thinks it is okay if she becomes his lover. Nana runs into Haruna’s dog, Marron, and saves him from being hit by a car. He tells her that Haruna likes Rito. Haruna invites Nana over to take a shower. Nana asks Haruna if she wants to date Rito, and says Marron told her. She wants to know why everyone is attracted to Rito. Haruna tells her it is because Rito makes people feel warm when they are with him. She admits she is keeping her feelings hidden because of Lala being her most important friend. Nana heads home when it begins raining, and ducks under an awning for cover. Rito shows up and brings her an umbrella. Lala greets Haruna at school the next day and calls Haruna her most important friend also. She then tells Lala that she likes Rito.

First part was very sweet, even with the slightly ecchi parts. I liked that Mikan was reassured that her brother is a good guy and protective. Part was so great with Yami being in love with Rito. She made my heart melt by acting so sweet and adorable. Part 3 was great because Haruna finally admits her feelings about Rito, even if it is to Lala. This may be the first time we see some continuation of a story into the next episode. Should be interesting.

The World God Only Knows (Episode 11):

Shiori is out shopping and she struggles to even get the attention of the store clerk. Shiori heads to the library with everything she bought, and begins taking down the books for disposal. When the library committee arrives, none of them can get in. Shiori sits behind her desk and ignores them. Keima explains the signs were there, and now they must see how the route plays out. Elsie takes Keima to the roof. Shiori begins to fall asleep at the desk, and she is dreaming about herself as a kid and unable to speak to others. This is when she also discovers the wonders of a library. She is awoken by the committee president banging at a window, and she notices Keima has come in. They sit behind the desk, and he plays his PFP. She ultimately speaks out loud, and he asks her for some drink. Just then the power goes out thanks to the president. Shiori ends up clinging to Keima when books fell on them. He tells her the real world is annoying. She says she wants to stay in the quiet forever, but he tells her it is a lie and that she wants to talk to others. He asks if she is trying to protect her books, or her sanctuary from the outside. She begins dreaming to herself, and feels her voice won’t reach them. Keima grabs her hand, pulls her out, and kisses her. When the committee arrives, Shiori apologizes for everything. She then tells them that the books have a message, and she wants a discussion. The president agrees, and Shiori thanks her. Shiori gets her tea to drink, and then asks if anyone else was there. Later Shiori is writing a story based on her faint memories of what occurred.

Wow, that was definitely the best arc of the series. I had a huge smile on my face by the end. As someone who used to be extremely shy, I could relate to Shiori a lot. They pulled off her inner monologues well, and when she finally had the courage to speak out loud, I cheered her on.

    Otome Yokai Zakuro (Episode 11):

Zakuro is running away when she falls and her pendant begins glowing. Her mother calls out to her and she walks forward. She comes face to face with her mother. When she touches her mom, she sees her memories. Everyone else is being filled in on the situation by Kushimatsu. We find out Zakuro’s mother had her son, Omodaka, taken away. She was spying on the village chief’s place when a young man chopped down the tree she was in. He introduces himself as Enaga, and she has become infatuated with him. She sneaks off to see him, and is introduced to new experiences. When one’s wife is spirited away, she begs for them to let her go, but is denied. While talking to Enaga, he kisses her. She became pregnant with his child, and when she tries to leave, he catches her. Suddenly he is killed right in front of her, and even Kushimatsu can’t protect them. They call her dirt, and even Omodaka looks down on her. They perform a ritual to turn the baby into a half-spirit, and afterward Tsukahane flees with Zakuro. Zakuro comes to when Omodaka arrives and tells her that he betrayed and killed their mother. He puts her to sleep and carries her away. Kushimatsu informs them that the pendant seals Zakuro’s power. They begin to regret joining the Spirit Affairs, but Kei says there are no regrets as they were able to fight together. They all vow to cross the barrier. DaiDai wants the same glory, and the Black Widow shows up. Kei and everyone are headed to the Village of Oracles.

This was a very emotional episode, as we got a look into Zakuro’s mother’s past. I began tearing up a bit at various events that took place. It also cemented my hatred for Omodaka even more. I was cheering out loud for the rest of the group to get there and save Zakuro. Can’t wait to see that next episode.

    Amagami SS (Episode 24):

Junichi is still unhappy about Tsukasa’s change. She asks him to help decorating, but he says he has to do a final check. After she finishes the opening speech, her and Junichi look at the tree. She asks him to join her and Yayoi’s friends, but he declines. Tsukasa leaves their group during the Miss Santa contest, while Junichi runs into Rihoko. Tsukasa is changing into a Santa Claus outfit. Junichi ends up leaving the festival and trying to figure out her change. He finds Umehara, who is burning an old love letter he regrets not replying to. Junichi claims he failed again, and Umehara tells him it isn’t over yet. Tsukasa is handing out presents around the festival. The festival has come to an end, and everyone is leaving. Everyone in their class is celebrating a successful festival. Junichi arrives late and is greeted by Tsukasa. He asks her to talk. He grabs on to her and tells her he loves her. He tells her of a bad Christmas Eve memory, but how he got to work with her while trying to break free of it. She asks if he hates the way she is now. He says he likes her now, but tells her likes her old self too, and doesn’t want to lose any part of her. She then punches and knees him, and wants to know what he wants. He is happy to find out she is still the same, and she cries on his chest. Later she tells Junichi about her past. She wanted to become something like Santa and bring happiness to others. He tells her to bring happiness to him as well, and they kiss. She then promises him she loves him too and won’t let go. We see them 10 years later, and they are visiting the festival with their daughter.

Wow, this arc ended wonderfully. The first half, I was in the same mood as Junichi. I wasn’t happy with Tsukasa’s change, but when she snapped out of it and laid him out, I was so happy. It was ncie to see her being herself, and the two of them work so well together. When we saw them 10 years later, they had such an adorable little girl. I teared up a bit during that touching scene.
